Foodi Adventures: Banana Chips.

I ran the Foodi in dehydrator mode overnight, dealing with some bananas I needed to use up.

This was my first experiment with the dehydrator, and it was a great success.

I used the default 60°C setting, for 10 hours.

To my surprise, the banana chips were not brittle, like those I buy in the shop, but chewy, like a fruit leather. No doubt if I had left them for longer, they would have crisped more, but I really loved the texture. Unbelievably sweet and concentrated flavour.

I was going to put these in a container to add to breakfasts, but I somehow demolished these with my morning cuppa.

Note also the green tomato – this was another success, but I have more to do on that front.
