My new cooker has arrived, and is fitted; having been without a kitchen stove for a month or so, it was well worth the wait.
OK, it isn’t a mini-aga, and it isn’t bright red. But it fits the slot, it is clean, it has two ovens, and I think it looks pretty nifty.
Looks great! I love the gas stoves with the glass “lids” – the extra worktop can be so useful…
The funny thing is that the instruction book tells you not to put stuff on it.
However, the way it is phrased, I think it is to discourage people putting (a)heavy things on it (b) stuff that will scratch or mark it (c) use it as a worktop when the oven or grill is working.
So while being sensible, I am going to ignore that, to some degree.
