Experiment with BBQ Lamb
I’ve just been on holiday, and of course I took my Davy Crockett grill with me.
I’ve just been on holiday, and of course I took my Davy Crockett grill with me.
A while back I refitted my larger Traeger pellet grill with a new home-built controller.
Finally got around to the great BBQ spring cleanup. A simple enough job, but between illness and the weather, I hadn’t managed it.
While at the garden centre on Friday, I picked up a Firebox BBQ Pizza Oven for some silly money.
Several months ago Chris asked whether I’d be interested in reviewing a sample box he received from ‘The Baking Club’. As baking is a hobby for me, I was quite happy to take him up on that and, during his most recent visit, we cracked open the box to see what we’d find.
The box itself is sized to fit through a standard letterbox, and marks the ‘best before’ date for the dry ingredients included. The packaging appeared to be of a good quality and well-suited to the task of protecting its contents.
I’ve long been a follower of the PelletHeads BBQ forum, which catered specifically to the kind of pellet-fueled smoker I use.
So if I am trying to free up more kitchen top space, the last thing I should do is buy another gadget?
Today, I am reviewing Simply Cook, a different type of recipe box from the others I have reviewed so far – Gousto, Hello Fresh, Mindful Chef.
I’ll be dining alone this year, but don’t see why I shouldn’t do it in style.
My third recipe with HelloFresh, and – once more – one I thought I didn’t need a recipe for, and was pleasantly surprised.
